Elka Rainwear from Denmark

 

 

New to Splish Splash Rainwear are the four new styles under Elka's "Oeko-tex 100" certification - a global standard for certifying materials which have had limited contact with harmful dyes and chemicals - especially important for youngsters.

Elka Rainwear are famous in Scandinavia for their adults fishing gear, and have extended this knowledge to manufacture durable, practical and eye-catching kids waterproofs. Made from 220g polyester/polyurethane, these rainsuits are windproof and waterproof, and sure to delight discerning toddlers.

Each Elka Rainsuit in Sizes 80-98 (Aust 1 - 3) feature 220g material in a jacket with a detachable hood, elastic at wrists, hidden zip and velcro fastenings; and overalls with elastic at ankles, adjustable shoulder straps and a stirrup at the feet to hold them in place. Sizes 104 (Aust 4) and above have trousers instead of overalls.

Elastic secures the wrists and ankles, keeping the elements at bay.

Elka Rainwear - Solid Colours

 

Jackets have fleece lined collars, detachable hoods, hidden zip with press stud fastenings and velcro strips, and elastic at wrists. Overalls have adjustable shoulder straps, and a stirrup at the ankles to hold in place under shoes.
